We welcome our Sydney friends to enjoy the country life of the Southern Highlands with us, where our head office is based.

Or perhaps you are moving back to the hustle and bustle of city life? We look forward to your regular visits back to the Highlands to see your friends at one of our many outstanding cafes. You will always have a bit of The Highlands in you after living here, even for a short while.

We also offer Sydney backloads (when the cost of the travel time is shared with other clients) for smaller moves.

Our team is experienced and courteous. We know moving home is a big deal and we are here to make the process and easy for you as possible.

FAQ

Do we move pool tables, pianos, spas and pot plants?

Yes, we do.

What trucks do you have?

We have 4 trucks ranging in different sizes. For access to your house we need a 2.5m wide drive and from 3.3m High for our smallest truck to 4.2m High clearance.

Do I need to empty drawers?

In most cases, yes. We tip a lot of furniture on a 45 degree angle to carry them which means the contents in the drawers can move and maybe even fall out.

And filing cabinets? Sturdy metal cabinets can have the files left in. Timber filing cabinets will need the files removed and boxed.

Do I need to put it in a box?

If the item is small enough to fit in a box, please pack it. We rarely take loose or individual items that are smaller than a box because it is more difficult to load in the truck and less likely to travel safely.

For the safety of your boxed items, we strongly recommend that you use double thick cardboard boxes and stay away from plastic tubs as the lids break when other things are packed on top of them.

Interstate Moves

We can move you anywhere in Australia and are often travelling to Victoria, Canberra, Queensland, Tasmania, South Australia. Yes, interstate transport is open to us even during COVID!

For Interstate Backloads (when the cost of the travel time is shared with other clients) we are part of a team of removal companies, where we can send furniture as a backload interstate cost effectively. We are part of a weekly service that runs through our modular system – so, no double handling.

Our partner depots are at Winston Hills in Sydney, Sandgate in Newcastle, Molendinar on the Gold Coast, Campbellfield in Melbourne and Lonsdale in Adelaide.

For overseas moves, we liase with OSS Worldwide Movers.

Pre-Packing

Annie, Denise and their team of pre-packers are available to help pack your smaller items into boxes.

Some clients would like everything packed and others prefer us to just take care of the items from the kitchen and display cabinets.

We can price this at an hourly rate, or we can provide you with a fixed quote for your packing needs.
